In the course of the Project, various artists will be creating pieces of contemporary art: by the end of the project,

the minimal number of the created artworks is meant to be 900 pieces of art!

Our purpose is to encourage Bulgarian artists to work actively, share experience with other artists;

the project is meant to open new paths and possibilities for expression and development of young talents.

Throughout Project “900”, monthly meetings will be held in order to present the newly joined artists.

29 April 2009 – at the launching of Project “900”, 71 artworks were shown by the first participating in the project artists.
29 May 2009 – National Palace of Culture. Contemporary art connoisseurs were provoked with an apple art installation – everyone was invited to try the “forbidden fruit”. The passers-by were attracted by the possibility to leave an “artistic mark” on a street paving stone. In a result, a colourful mosaic was created, symbolizing the “way of contemporary art”.

23 June 2009 – the third project event was held in “Battenberg” Square in Sofia – an Interactive art installation “900 Nails into the Crisis”, having as purpose to provoke the public to “hammer a nail” into that crisis, which they most of all wish to overcome

22 July 2009 – project “900” was presented in the FAME CARDS network; meanwhile Human Thinks’ team were participating in the “Festival of Arts” in Den Helder, The Netherlands.
28 October 2009 – a charity concert was held in “Bulgaria” Hall, given by INSPIRITY Quintet, who arrived from London especially to support project “900”. At the moment we have over 270 artworks!
