Love Artifacts
Conceptual Love Artifacts Exhibition
22nd of February till 29th of February 2008, at the NBU Gallery, 17, Ljuben Karavelov St.
The exhibition shows the love artifacts, collected during the “Love is the Best Remedy” interactive street performance, which took place on the 14th of February 2008 in Sofia, on occasion of the Saint Valentine’s Day. In this performance, six women, dressed in bridal white, collected the love confessions of Sofia citizens and guests.
The “LOVE THINk/gS” exhibition shows:
1. Conceptual (yet unpublished) photographs, taken by Dona Zlatanova.
2. Documentary photos, made during the performance by the photographer Nadezhda Korcheva.
3. The original messages and poems of love, which the six “brides” got from the people whom they met on the street..
4. Unique bridal styling by Radostina Radichkova – Rodi, and a conceptual hair-style by HAIR SHOP.
The six “brides” were: Julia Medichkova – TV director and founder of Human Thinks, Anna-Maria Peeva – psychologist and TV- and radio presenter, Dona Zlatanova – photographer, Julia Tsvetkova – actress and gallery curator, Radostina Hlebarova – psychologist and pedagogue, Miloslava Savova – actress.
